We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI/LLMs and agentic systems. This role supports ongoing initiatives to build effective agent-based systems that transform product definition, user research and experience, design, execution, and operational excellence.
With strong experience in AI system design, this person will play a key role in guiding decisions around frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, A2A), determining when agents are appropriate (balancing latency, cost, and performance), and ensuring interoperability across tools and internal services.
What you'll do:
- Reinventing how insights are shared and consumed by our customers.
- High-level orchestration across data ecosystems to eliminate silos.
- Hyper-personalization and natural interaction for fleet operations.
- Seamless “what if” scenario exploration and data-driven decision making for fleet managers.
- Design AI components that enhance the interoperability of predictive models for accident risk, energy consumption, tire wear, and other key indicators. Activities include design proposals, result analysis, traceability of iterations, and progress/non-regression KPIs.
- Co-led a team of experts working on generative AI initiatives to transform internal processes and external products; developed algorithms following best practices.
- Contribute to long term vision and innovation: bring new ideas, monitor emerging trends, and support potential patent activities.
- Communicate internally and externally: capture user needs, collaborate with technical partners to accelerate time to market, and engage with labs, universities, and startups on next-generation topics.
- Join and accelerate efforts to design and deploy effective agent-based systems for product design, user experience evolution, and operational excellence.
- Help mature architectural choices (LLM selection, framework selection such as LangChain, LangGraph, MCP) to support simple, composable, and maintainable design.
- Decide when agent systems are appropriate, considering trade-offs between latency, cost, and performance.
- Ensure interoperability across tools and services to eliminate silos and maximize impact.
- Contribute across the full lifecycle—from prototype (POC) to industrialization and market launch.
- Deep expertise in AI, especially language models and intelligent agents.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to the evaluation of solutions and proposals.
- Excellent communication skills for sharing concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-oriented mindset and awareness of how fleet managers operate.
- Ability to lead data-driven projects and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with external research labs and/or startups.
What you'll bring:
Key skillsets:
